The business of healthcare is a global business. Most leaders do not have sufficient training to understand the complex variety of cultures and values that influence their business. In the RCM space the majority of cross cultural communication each day happens between offshore teams and US-based staff. Most of these teams are educated in RCM operations and have a low Global Mindset. To have smooth operations, a company must have teams that trust each other,understand each other, and have the ability to function cohesively.

The webinar will teach a series of cultural areas where multicultural teams encounter conflict,inefficiency, and other breakdowns. We will look at both US and international dynamics to create a two-way street for learning and create value for US and international leaders alike.Each participant will leave with frameworks to use as they improve their own Global Mindset and capacity to lead multicultural teams. Additionally, they will come to understand on the ground tips and tricks that can be implemented immediately to improve efficiency,communication, and conflict resolution across borders.

Speaker Bio:
Jeff Hillam is an entrepreneur who owns companies internationally and domestically and has lived or worked in over 50 countries. Jeff graduated with a BA from Purdue University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management – where his focus area was international management. He is the CEO of Red House Medical Billing. He considers Global Mindset to be a core competency of the companies he runs and an indispensable skill for any leader.
